Gorilla Glue isn’t exaggerating when they claim “weld,” either. This epoxy is extremely strong with a strength of 4250PSI. It’s also a permanent bond – you will struggle to remove this.

In addition to that, Gorillaweld is waterproof and can be used on most materials. It dries a dark grey a color, which is actually a benefit when bonding metal as it makes it easy to see the bond.

Keep in mind that Gorillaweld takes about 10 minutes to dry. 10 minutes might sound annoying, but it’s actually convenient when bonding metal.

Loctite GO2

Loctite GO2 is a clear-drying glue made from polyurethane and polyoxysilane. This makes it a very durable, versatile, and flexible glue. 

However, many reviewers do not understand the purpose of GO2 glue. This is not a general-purpose super glue. 

It is thicker and more flexible than standard super glue, which makes it great to use in an area prone to vibrations. The extra thickness also means you will have to let this glue set for about 24 hours.

Don’t let that scare you, this glue is excellent at its fairly narrow intended use – bonded areas that will experience vibrations.

Loctite 242

Loctite 242 is the best threadlocker for general use with bolts, screws, and other fasteners under ¾” long. It has a strength and viscosity rating of medium. 

Unfortunately, Loctite 242 does not have oil resistance. If you need an oil-resistant threadlocker, then you should purchase Loctite 243. It’s the same as 242, but with oil resistance and a little extra strength.

Loctite Red 271

Loctite Red 271 is a heavy-duty threadlocker. It has a high-strength and high viscosity, which makes it perfect for large fasteners. We recommend using this with fasteners up to 1” long.

As for temperature range, it has a safe range of -65℉ to 300℉. 

Removal involves heating up the fastener to 450℉ for five minutes and then removing it with hand tools. This threadlocker shouldn’t fail for all but the toughest uses.
