12 Best Utility Sink Faucets – Reviews

Here are the 12 best utility sink faucets. We’ve selected different faucets for different uses, so you should have no issue finding one that works for you.

For instance, if you need the best faucet for your laundry room, a wall mounted faucet, or a budget faucet, then we have plenty of choices for you.

Best Overall Utility Sink Faucet

Moen 8277

Materials: Brass with chrome plating

Dimensions: 12.8” x 9.63” x 3”

Flow Rate: 2.2GPM

Warranty: Lifetime Limited

The Moen 8277 earns the title best overall utility sink faucet for one reason.

This faucet is awesome. Period.

We’ll start with the flow rate of 2.2GPM. That is a crazy fast flow rate – water comes out faster than you are probably used to water coming out of a faucet, which is extremely convenient for a faucet in a laundry room.

Next, this faucet has a solid brass construction with chrome plating. The chrome gives it a little extra shine. The lack of iron and steel also means this faucet won’t ever rust or tarnish, so you can put this outside with absolutely no problems.

The spout on this faucet is threaded, too. It might not sound like much, but this allows you to screw a hose onto it. What does this mean?

You can attach a hose to your faucet and water your garden. Really though, it’s especially useful to have a threaded spot on an outdoor faucet, in a laundry room, and especially for commercial purposes.

Finally, Moen has a great reputation in the faucet industry and they stand behind their faucets. You know what that means, right?

Moen has a lifetime limited warranty on this faucet. You really shouldn’t need it because this faucet is borderline indestructible, but it’s nice to have some extra piece of mind.

Pros:

  • Super fast flow rate of 2.2GPM.
  • Brass with chrome finish looks great for a long time.
  • Extremely durable faucet.
  • Threaded spout makes it possible to attach a hose to the spout.
  • Lifetime limited warranty.
  • Great for outdoor or indoor use.

Cons:

  • It’s more expensive than other faucets. In our opinion, the extra cost is worth it.
  • No sprayer, but the threaded spout makes up for it.

Final Verdict

We recommend this faucet if you have a larger budget and want the absolute best utility faucet on the market. Moen really hit it out of the park with this faucet – this thing will likely outlast your home. Don’t let the price scare you, it’s worth it.

Best Single Handle Utility Sink Faucet

Ufaucet Modern

Materials: Brass body

Dimensions: 17” x 10.6” x 3.2”

Flow Rate: 1.2 GPM

Warranty: 10 year warranty. 90 day money back guarantee

Sometimes you don’t want a double handled faucet for whatever reason – style, practicality, or use. We understand that. If you want a best laundry room faucet with one handle, then the Ufaucet Modern is a perfect choice for you.

We’ll start with the features we like. A brass body means that this faucet likely won’t break or tarnish on you, which is nice for any faucet in a laundry room or a garage.

Ufaucet also included ceramic valves on the faucet. Those help ensure that no water leaks out when the faucet is turned off, which is very useful.

Most importantly, this faucet has a detachable sprayer. We can’t state how useful a sprayer is on a faucet. It really does make a huge difference. And it’s a feature that many more expensive utility sink faucets do not actually have.

Finally, it’s a single handle faucet. This means you will want a plate cover in case you have extra holes on your sink. Fortunately, Ufaucet includes a plate cover with this faucet, so you don’t have to look at any ugly holes on your sink.

Pros:

  • Durable brass construction.
  • Plate cover and fittings included with purchase.
  • Ceramic valves.
  • It works indoors or outdoors.
  • Easy installation.
  • Affordable.
  • 10 year warranty with a 90 day money back guarantee.

Cons:

  • The flow rate of 1.2 GPM is slow compared to a faucet with two handles. This is a typical flow rate on a one handle faucet, though.

Final Verdict

There isn’t anything wrong with this single handle faucet from Ufaucet. It’s brass, includes a plate cover, has ceramic valves, and is affordable.

If you need a single handle faucet for your laundry room or outdoor sink, then this is the choice for you. Just don’t expect a fast flow rate from a single handle faucet.

Best for Indoor Use

Delta Faucet 2131LF

Materials: Brass.

Dimensions: 7 x 6.5 x 7 inches

Flow Rate: 2.0GPM

Warranty: Lifetime Limited

Delta has a reputation for making excellent faucets and, well, the 2131LF is exactly what you would expect – an excellent faucet.

There are a few things we really like about this faucet that make it great. First, it’s extremely affordable. It’s actually surprising how affordable this faucet is considering it has a fast flow rate of 2.0GPM.

The threaded spout, spout that swivels 360 degrees, and plain styling make it perfect for use in a laundry room or other indoor space. We don’t recommend this for outdoor use because the handles will become slow over time.

Finally, the lifetime limited warranty really set this faucet from others on the list. As we said, Delta has a great reputation in the faucet industry, so we wouldn’t expect any less from them.

Pros:

  • Lifetime limited warranty.
  • 2.0GPM flow rate.
  • Threaded spout for extra convenience.
  • No-nonsense design.

Cons:

  • No sprayer.
  • Not ideal for outdoor use.

Final Verdict

This is an affordable Delta faucet. You really can’t go wrong with it for your laundry room or garage. The lifetime limited warranty, 2.0GPM flow rate, affordable price, and threaded spout really seal the deal for us and should make this an excellent choice for you.

Best Utility Sink Faucet With a Long Spout

American Standard 2475

Materials: Cast brass with a chrome finish.

Dimensions: 14.75” x 10” x 3.25”

Flow Rate: 2.2GPM

Warranty: Lifetime Limited

American Standard is another brand with a great reputation in the faucet industry. No list of best faucets would be complete without at least one American Standard faucet.

Anyway, the 2475 earns a spot on our list because it has a long faucet. That’s right, long not tall. This faucet reaches out a little over 6 inches. All that reach makes this great if you have a very large sink, which is somewhat common for a utility sink.

Our favorite feature about this faucet is the ceramic disc valves. Those valves ensure that very little water will leak from this faucet. That will save you a ton of money on your water bill. Something that everyone is trying to do.

Finally, the 2.2GPM is as fast as it gets in terms of flow rate. It’s about twice as fast as your kitchen faucet. If that wasn’t enough for you, then this faucet has a lifetime limited warranty. A lifetime warranty is nice to have, even if you never need it.

Pros:

  • The long spout is great if you have a large sink.
  • 2.2GPM flow rate is the top of the market.
  • Ceramic disk valves ensure no water leaks.
  • Somewhat affordable.
  • Lifetime limited warranty.

Cons:

  • The long spout won’t work with all sinks.

Final Verdict

Here’s the scoop, if you have a large sink, then this is the faucet for you. In fact, we recommend this faucet if you have the space for it. Unfortunately, this faucet won’t work with most sinks, but if it works on your sink, then you’re golden.

Best Tall Utility Sink Faucet

Moen 8126

Materials: Brass with a chrome finish.

Dimensions: 12.45” x 4” x 9.92”

Flow rate: 2.2GPM

Warranty: 5 year limited warranty

Moen is the best faucet manufacturer, no doubt. It’s not surprising that this is their second faucet on our list.

This time they earned a spot with the 8126 faucet with its large height. One thing to note, this is a wall mounted faucet. It’s great if you need a tall faucet, but a wall mounted faucet is more difficult to install.

Anyway, we like this faucet because it has a pretty tall 12.4” height. That extra height makes it great if you load a lot of oversized items into your sink. Seriously, you can’t load large objects in some of the faucets with a lower clearance.

This faucet isn’t a one trick pony, though. It has a top of the line flow rate of 2.2GPM. As usual, that’s faster than any faucet you’ve likely ever owned. You’ll like a flow rate like that.

Moen also did well with the design on this faucet. The chrome finish looks good and the handles look really smooth. This design looks great in a modern home. It looks especially well in a modern laundry room.

One last thing, this faucet has ceramic valves, which is the norm from a Moen. This means you won’t have to worry about water dripping out and racking up your water bill, which is annoying.

Pros:

  • 12.4” clearance.
  • 2.2GPM flow rate.
  • Ceramic valves.
  • 5 year warranty.
  • Brass construction with a dull chrome finish looks great.
  • The design is perfect and modern.

Cons:

  • No sprayer.
  • Wall mounted faucet can be difficult to install.

Final Thoughts

This is more of a boutique choice if you need a faucet with a high clearance and a wall mount. Honestly, this faucet isn’t for the vast majority of people as the high clearance and wall mount just aren’t necessary.

However, if you need a wall mount and high clearance faucet you should purchase this faucet. The flow rate and ceramic valves are nice bonuses.

Best Laundry Room Faucet with Sprayer

Universal Laundry Tub Faucet

Materials: Plastic

Dimensions: 10.4” x 7.3” x 3.5”

Flow Rate: 2.5GPM

Warranty: 2 year limited warranty

If you need a basic laundry room faucet that has a sprayer, this faucet by Jackson Supplies is the choice for you. As we said, it’s a fairly basic faucet that does exactly what you need a laundry room faucet to do.

Basically, it pumps out water at a very fast rate and has a sprayer. This makes it great for spraying down clothes before you toss them in the washer.

Oh yeah, it’s extremely affordable. This makes it perfect if you need a faucet for your laundry room, but don’t plan on using it often enough to warrant paying a lot of money for one.

The one downside is that this faucet is made from plastic, which means it won’t last nearly as long as a metallic faucet. That’s not really a huge deal at this price point.

Pros:

  • It has a sprayer.
  • Fast flow rate of 2.5GPM.
  • Extremely affordable.

Cons:

  • It’s made from plastic, so it will probably break after a few years.

Final Verdict

Well, this is the perfect laundry room faucet for most people because most people don’t want to spend much money for a faucet they don’t use that often. The sprayer makes it perfect for laundry rooms, too.

The plastic construction is a bummer, but it’s expected at this price point.

Best Looking Utility Sink Faucet

KOHLER K-15271

Materials: Brass with polished chrome finish.

Dimensions: 14.28” x 7.56” x 4.56”

Flow Rate: 2.2 GPM

Warranty: Lifetime limited warranty

A list of the best utility sink faucets would not be complete without one KOHLER faucet on the list. The K-15271 is that faucet.

It has a lot of features to like about it. We’ll start with our favorite: the design.

Something about this faucet makes it different from the normal utility sink faucets you find. The smooth edges, polished chrome finish, and flat handles mean it fits in practically every type of home. That’s a huge benefit.

As for the specs, it has a top of the line flow rate of 2.2 GPM. That’s more than enough flow rate for the average homeowner. Even better is that this faucet has a threaded spout, which allows you to easily attach a hose. The extra flow rate means the hose won’t have any problem with water pressure.

KOHLER included ceramic valves on this faucet, which is something that everyone likes on their faucet. No more leaks!

Finally, KOHLER has a lifetime limited warranty on this faucet that covers manufacturing defects. Your faucet most likely won’t have any problems, so the lifetime limited warranty will likely go unused. It’s still nice to see a company that stands behind their product.

Pros:

  • Excellent design.
  • Fast flow rate of 2.2 GPM.
  • Ceramic valves to prevent leaks.
  • Use it indoors or outdoors.
  • Lifetime limited warranty.

Cons:

  • Slightly more expensive than other faucets.

Final Verdict

If you’re looking for a utility faucet that looks amazing, this is the faucet for you.Nothing else on this list compares to the design of this KOHLER faucet. KOHLER didn’t skimp on the specs, either. A 2.2 GPM flow rate, brass construction, and ceramic valves make this one of the better faucets on the list.

Best Faucet for Concrete Utility Sinks

Central Brass 0465

Materials: Brass.

Dimensions: 8.3” x 5.06” x 3.25”

Flow Rate: 1.5GPM

Warranty: 5 years

Do you have a rustic looking utility sink made of concrete or stone?

If your answer to that question is yes, then you should highly consider the Central Brass 0465. This faucet is vertically mounted, which is somewhat rare to find these days.

More importantly, it has a very rustic design. It’s the type of faucet you would expect to find in a farmhouse more than a modern home. This makes it great if you are going for a more rustic design.

As for the specs, a 1.5GPM flow rate is pretty average. You will most likely find it more than decent for your needs.

The faucet also has two handles, which fits with the rustic design of the faucet. Speaking of rustic design, this faucet is made from brass, so you can place this indoors, outdoors, or even in your basement.

It’s also durable. This is one of those faucets that will likely outlast your home. The 5 year warranty from Central Brass is nice, but we would be surprised if you need it.

Finally, this faucet has a threaded spout. And that means you can easily screw a hose onto it, which is great if you need to use this outdoors.

Pros:

  • The rustic look is great if you have a rustic-looking home, a basement, a garage, or a concrete sink.
  • It’s extremely durable because of the brass construction.
  • Vertically mounted.
  • Threaded spout.
  • 5 year warranty.
  • Very affordable.
  • 1.5GPM flow rate is acceptable.

Cons:

  • The design won’t work for all situations.
  • No sprayer.

Final Verdict

It can be difficult to find a wall mounted faucet, we know this. Central Brass solved this problem at a very affordable price with a cool design and excellent durability.

That said, this faucet isn’t for everyone. It only looks good with certain sinks or outdoors. But if it fits your home, then you can’t go wrong with this faucet.

Best Wall-Mounted Utility Sink Faucet

Delta Faucet 28T9

Materials: Cast brass with chrome plating.

Dimensions: 10.25” x 10.88” x 10.25”

Flow Rate: 4GPM

Warranty: 5 year limited.

Delta earns another spot on the list with the 28T9, We’ll tell you, Delta makes great faucets. The 28T9 is an excellent wall mounted faucet from Delta. Here are some of the features that we really like.

First, the flow rate is crazy fast at 4GPM. That’s right 4 gallons per minute – that’s not a typo. A fast flow rate like that is almost a little too fast for most people. It’s still convenient, though. You can never have a flow rate that is too fast.

Next, the 28T9 is surprisingly easy to install for a wall mounted faucet. All the parts needed for installation are included. This means you can install it in about 30 minutes if you don’t have to cut into your wall.

You’ll also like the 100% brass construction of this faucet. Why?

This faucet can be placed outside, inside, or in a garage and it won’t tarnish or look bad. It will even last through a cold Midwest winter.

Delta also includes their standard 5 year limited warranty with this faucet. That might not sound long, but Delta has a good reputation for handling warranties, so you don’t need to worry about them denying any claims. That said, it’s doubtful you’ll ever have any problems.

One feature we really like is that this faucet has a flip on the spout that allows it to be pulled back. Sure, you can’t move it from side-to-side. But being able to physically flip the spout up makes up for that. It’s also a little more useful in our opinion.

Last of all, the faucet has ceramic valves – a typical feature at this price. You won’t have to worry about a leaky faucet.

Pros:

  • Durable cast brass construction.
  • Extremely fast flow rate of 4GPM.
  • Spout moves vertically.
  • Great for indoor, outdoor, or commercial use.
  • 5 year limited warranty.

Cons:

  • Wall mounted faucets are harder to install, but this one is easier than most.
  • The spout does not move horizontally. It does move vertically, which is more useful.

Final Verdict

Delta makes great faucets. No one really debates that, and the 28T9 is the wall mounted faucet you should buy if you need a wall mounted faucet.

Best Budget Utility Sink Faucet

WEWE Faucet

Materials: Brass frame. Stainless steel spout. Plastic sprayer.

Dimensions: 27.1” x 11.8” x 3.1”

Flow Rate: 1.8GPM

Warranty: 5 years

Are you looking for a utility sink faucet that won’t break the bank?

If you are, the WEWE utility sink faucet is the choice for you. This is one of the more affordable faucets on our list and it still performs well.

We’ll start with the flow rate since that’s always important – 1.8GPM. That’s surprisingly fast for such an affordable faucet. You definitely won’t have any problems waiting around to fill up containers.

The ability to swivel this faucet 360 degrees is also convenient because that allows you to easily move the spout out of the way if you load over-sized objects in the sink.

Perhaps most interesting is the detachable sprayer on the spout. This is a feature that you normally only find on kitchen faucets. You’ll probably find it convenient, so it’s definitely not a negative. This faucet also has a single handle that controls both hot and cold water.

It really does look more like a kitchen faucet than a utility faucet. This makes it great for a modern home or laundry room. It really fits in with a modern washer and dryer, We’ll say that much.

Pros:

  • Fast flow rate of 1.8GPM.
  • It looks like a kitchen faucet and it really fits in a modern laundry room.
  • Very affordable.
  • 5 year warranty.
  • 360 degree swivel.

Cons:

  • The spout is plastic, so you shouldn’t use it on an outdoor sink.
  • Some people don’t like the single handle.

Final Verdict

Overall, we really like this faucet if you are looking for a more affordable faucet for your utility sink. The fast flow rate really makes this standout for the price. Not to mention that it has a sprayer.

The only real downside is that you can’t use it outside. Other than that, this faucet is great.

Belanger 3040W

Materials: Brass with chrome plating.

Dimensions: 12.88” x 8.25” x 2.5”

Flow Rate: 2.2 GPM

Warranty: Length of home ownership.

Belanger makes a competitive utility sink faucet. We’ll actually say this faucet is comparable to many of the more expensive options on the list.

First, the price on this faucet is extremely competitive – it’s the most affordable faucet. Despite the price, this faucet has specs that compare to faucets that cost three times the price.

For instance, this faucet is made from cast brass with a shiny chrome finish. This means you can actually use this faucet. Personally, we don’t recommend using this particular faucet outside, but it is possible.

The flow rate is a solid 2.2GPM. As you know, that’s the same flow rate as a high end faucet. Another positive for this faucet.

Belanger even has ceramic valves and a threaded spouts on this faucet. Both of those features are normally only found on much more expensive faucets. So, what’s the catch?

There really isn’t a catch with this faucet. This faucet doesn’t even have plastic internals like you would find on most faucets of this price.

We will say that this faucet doesn’t include the normal extras that you expect in a faucet. Stuff like pipes and fittings. That is not something you should expect at this price, though.

Pros:

  • 2.2 GPM flow rate.
  • Very affordable.
  • Cast brass construction with no plastic internal parts.
  • Threaded spout.
  • Aerator included.
  • Lifetime limited warranty.

Cons:

  • No kit included. It’s only the faucet, which is expected at this price point.

Final Verdict

This is the faucet to purchase if you’re looking for a budget pick. There truly isn’t anything else that compares. Seriously, ceramic valves and no plastic components at this price is unheard of in a utility sink faucet.

The only drawback is that you must purchase the fittings yourself, but the extremely low price makes that minor inconvenience worth it.

Best Laundry Sink Faucet

Peerless P299232

Materials: Brass.

Dimensions: 12.25” x 7” x 2.25”

Flow Rate: 2.2 GPM

Warranty: Lifetime Limited Warranty

A laundry sink faucet is a little different than a utility sink faucet. Basically, a laundry sink faucet is primarily for use in, well, a laundry room. It still should be made of brass and have a fast flow rate.

Fortunately, the Peerless P299232 meets those requirements. As an added bonus, the Peerless is rather affordable.

As for the specific specs, how does a 2.2 GPM flow rate sound to you?

That’s a fast flow rate. You can definitely fill up your laundry room sink fast with a flow rate like that. Nice!

Peerless even took the liberty of adding a threaded spout to this faucet, so you can hook up a hose to spray down your washer or fill buckets in your laundry room. It doesn’t have a sprayer, but that threaded spout really negates the use of sprayer in our opinion.

One thing that makes this faucet special is that it is actually ADA compliant. We know, this isn’t important for most homes, but it is a nice feature if someone in your home uses a wheelchair. Or if you want your children to be able to access the faucet.

Another interesting feature is that this faucet works with a two hole and three hole faucet. We recommend using it with a three hole faucet. The option is nice, though.

Finally, Peerless includes a lifetime limited warranty on the faucet. This warranty covers manufacturer defects that result in damage to the faucet or to the finish.

Pros:

  • Affordable price.
  • 2.2 GPM flow rate.
  • Made of 100% brass.
  • Threaded spout.
  • ADA compliant.
  • Perfect for a laundry room.
  • Lifetime limited warranty.

Cons:

  • No fittings or attachments included – it’s just a faucet.
  • No sprayer. The threaded spout makes up for it, though.

Final Verdict

We recommend this faucet if you’re looking for an affordable laundry room faucet. It has the flow rate and construction that you want. The lack of sprayer is a little annoying, but the threaded spout more than makes up for it.

Most importantly, the price is very competitive. You won’t find many decent laundry sink faucets at this price point, we’ll say that.

What makes a utility sink faucet different from a regular faucet?

The main difference between a utility sink faucet and a regular faucet is the durability

Utility sinks and faucets are much more durable than a regular faucet. Most utility sink faucets are made from metal, which makes them much more durable than regular faucets that are frequently made of plastic. You can bump, tap, and ding a utility sink faucet without any worry about it breaking.

Another difference is that a utility sink faucet can swivel 360 degrees. This allows you to move it out of the way if you have to load up a large object into your large utility sink.

Finally, a utility sink faucet will have a faster flow rate. Obviously, this means that more water flows out per minute, which has plenty of advantages for utility purposes. A faster flow rate is really great. You might end up using your utility sink more than your kitchen sink because you like the flow rate so much!

best utility sink faucet

What to look for in a utility sink faucet?

There are a few features that you want to look for in a utility sink faucet. This section will cover all those features and explain why they are so important.

It’s important to note that all the sinks listed above work perfectly fine for a utility sink, but if you want to purchase a different for some reason. This is what you should look for in it.

Material

The most important factor to consider when purchasing your utility sink faucet is the material. We recommend purchasing a utility sink faucet that is made of metal. Brass is the best choice by far. Other options are available if you have the room in your budget, but stainless steel works great for the price.

We don’t recommend purchasing a utility sink faucet that is made of plastic as plastic has a tendency to break. Plastic will also sun rot if it’s outside for too long. In fact, most people only consider a faucet a utility sink faucet if it’s made of metal.

Overall, go with a metal when making your purchase. It will cost slightly more, but it will last you for years.

Height

Height is another factor that you certainly want to consider before making your purchase. This is especially true if you plan on filling buckets with water.

With that in mind, we recommend a sink faucet that is marketed as a faucet with plenty of clearance. The exact height varies based on your needs and the layout of the faucet and your sink, though.

That’s why it’s difficult to recommend an exact height.

You really can’t have an outdoor sink faucet that is too tall, though. This will become apparent the first time you try to fill a bucket in your sink – you can’t do that with a short faucet.

Durability

You want a durable sink faucet. Especially if you place the utility sink outdoors.

You really don’t want a fragile faucet outside – it won’t last.

So, what exactly makes a sink faucet durable?

It mostly comes down to extra coating on the faucet itself. This extra coating will prevent the metal from tarnishing and oxidizing, which will happen if it’s outside.

If the sink is a laundry sink, then the durability doesn’t really matter. A laundry sink faucet just doesn’t have the same wear-and-tear of an outdoor faucet.

With information in mind, we still recommend purchasing a more durable faucet than a less durable faucet. It will last longer, even if it’s indoors.

Hot and Cold Water

Did you know there are utility sink faucets that only have one water line attachment?

Well, there are faucets like this. And they’re rather annoying for most people. I mean, it’s a utility sink. You will most likely need to use it for hot water and cold water at some point.

How can you do that if it only has hot water or cold water?

Exactly. You can’t.

We recommend a utility sink faucet that can output hot water and cold water. It’s fine if you have no intention using hot or cold water, but you will definitely want to use both at some point. And that’s not possible if you purchase the wrong faucet.

best utility sink faucet

Flow Rate

Flow rate isn’t particularly important when it comes to a utility sink faucet. You obviously don’t want a super low flow rate as that is just annoying.

But a fast flow rate isn’t all that necessary, either.

A fast flow rate still has more advantages. The main one being that, well, the water comes out faster. This means you can fill buckets faster, fill the sink faster, and wash more items at one time.

I recommend a minimum flow rate of 1GPM for a utility sink faucet. If you need the faucet for commercial purposes, then you should go with a flow rate closer to 2GPM or higher.

One or Two Handles?

Utility sink faucets have traditionally come in a two handle design as this is more practical for the more rugged uses of a utility sink.

A faucet with two handles will also require less maintenance as the wear and tear is distributed between two different handles. Fascinating, isn’t it?

Utility sink faucets with one handle are making an emergence, though. They offer a sleeker look and fit the minimalist trend that is sweeping the faucet industry.

So, which is better?

We prefer a faucet with two handles. They look better, are easier to use, and seem to have less mechanical problems than a faucet with one handle.

Despite that, the difference isn’t that huge. This one comes down to personal preference. Choose whatever style you like the most.

Sprayer

A sprayer is not a required feature in a utility sink faucet. However, it’s so useful that we recommend it if you have the room in your budget.

It’s especially nice to have a sprayer if you want to place a utility sink in your laundry room. We frequently use the sprayer on our faucet to spray down clothes before dropping them in the washer.

It’s also nice for spraying down paintbrushes, large pots, and gardening tools.

Again, this isn’t a feature that everyone will use. But you will most likely find plenty of use for a sprayer on a utility sink.

We highly recommend it for anyone that is purchasing a utility sink faucet. It’s just too useful to ignore. And the price increase is not that severe.

Wall or Deck-Mount Utility Sink Faucet?

First, the difference between a deck mounted utility sink and a wall mounted utility sink faucet is pretty big.

Basically, a deck mounted utility sink faucet mounts to the back of the sink. For reference, it’s the same layout as a normal kitchen sink.

wall mounted sink faucet is a lot different. These faucets mount into the wall itself. As you can imagine, these faucets are difficult to DIY install.

Utility Sink Faucets – FAQ

How to replace a utility sink faucet?

Replacing a utility sink faucet is an easy process if you have a deck mounted faucet. If you have a wall-mounted faucet, then you will likely have to call a plumber.

Anyway, to replace a deck mounted utility sink simply turn off the water line, unscrew the faucet from the water line, place your faucet on the sink, and attach the water line to the faucet.

As we said, it’s an easy process. Some faucets even include the wrench with the purchase.

What is the best material for a laundry room sink?

You can’t go wrong with a laundry room sink and faucet made of metal. It’s durable and won’t break.

This is why we recommend sticking with a metal sink for your laundry room.
